Jacky Winter and World Vision brought 40 Artists together to each create an original artwork exploring the human side of forced displacement. The project is aptly named 40 Artist for 40 Hour Famine.
As a proud daughter of refugee boat people, I was humbled to raise awareness about refugees.
"I carry everything and nothing"
This was inspired by a photo documentary project exploring what little belongings refugees carry with them. But refugees actually carry the weight of the world. What they actually carry to get through such tough times is amazing strength of character, love, family, survival instinct, hope, and pure resilience.
